Recap of the Joint IBPSA-ASC-NUS (DBE) Seminar: “Building Energy Performance – Trend and Challenge”

We are delighted to share that on October 16, 2024, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, IBPSA Singapore, in collaboration with ASC and NUS, hosted an insightful seminar titled “Building Energy Performance – Trend and Challenge” at SDE4-05-07.

The event featured two distinguished speakers:

  • Dr. Jason Zhang, Assistant Professor at Arizona State University, who brought academic insights into the evolving trends in building energy performance.
  • Mr. Praveen Hassan Chandrashekar, Director of the Sustainability & Resilience Office at Surbana Jurong, who shared practical perspectives on current challenges and sustainable solutions in the industry.

The seminar sparked engaging discussions among participants, fostering connections and the exchange of ideas aimed at improving building energy efficiency. We look forward to more collaborative events that continue to enrich our vibrant community of professionals and researchers.
